I know that UCI has quite a strong volunteering and philanthropy community, with clubs such as Circle K and the like, so I thought that this visualization would be quite interesting.
It's an interactive pie chart which shows different volunteering causes, and the number of hours and people that have pledged to these causes since the creation of this pie chart. I say "since the creation" of the chart since it still continues to update itself, with people logging in hours through its facebook link found on the top. What I found cool too was how interactive it was; if you mouse over one of the slices of the pie, it will focus on that particular slice and highlight the figures even more.
