This website basically provides a screen saver that visualizes blogs from around the world into a 3d representation of the earth. http://www.twingly.com/screensaver
This screensaver is currently limited to Windows machines and is in the beta stage. It basically shows real time blog activity represented on a 3d map. The map is fully interactive, allowing to the user to zoom in/out of regions and to scroll at will. You can customize how much preview information is shown for a blog, but there is no way to filter or categorize the blogs (except how they are already categorized by region).
