While not the most exciting visualization, here is one that breaks down the different types of content (downstream) in the US.

This article mostly talks about how much Netflix occupies the Real-Time Entertainment category, but it is interesting to see the percentages of other content that makes up internet traffic over the years. While this visualization makes it seem as though some types of traffic are slowly diminishing, you need to keep in mind that streaming media takes up way more bandwidth than a regular website. Its just interesting to see our downstream internet usage being broken down.
