This is a visualization mapping the social networks of people in the New Testament. The visualization was made using Many Eyes. It is my suspicion that while this visualization shows the relationships between biblical figures, the primary purpose of it is to highlight the juxtaposition of the subject matter and the technology used. It is also a shallow surface mapping, it compares names spacially in the text rather than considering how the names are connected.
